I've been remiss in adding photos to the site, so this is a bit of a hodge-podge from Autumn through the Christmas season, 2001. Megan's class went to a 19th century schoolhouse, where they weren't allowed to bring any modern items, so they wore period costumes and even carried their lunches wrapped in plain paper inside lunch pails.
We had several visitors to Virginia during Christmas: Jonathan, Lisa and Karen's brother, came to visit with his wife, Kate, and their lovely daughter, Emma; and Boyd Jr. dropped by for a week. We took a day-trip to Washington, DC, where we braved the cold (and a bit of snow!) to wander the Mall and visit Union Station and the Air and Space Museum.
